Baraita

Also spelled  Baraitha (Hebrew: “Outside Teaching,” or “Exclusion”),  plural  Baraitot, Baraitoth, or Baraithoth,   any of the ancient oral traditions of Jewish religious law that were not included in the Mishna (the first authoritative codification of such laws).
